Three special paintings… a collaboration of two artists, Jeffrey Lange and O.M. Norling.
CRASH COLLABORATION DEFINED
Jeff, working in his studio, created the rich, kinetic, dreamy backgrounds with zero input from Jay/OMN. The paintings were then handed-over to Jay/OMN. He conjured up the animal and object subject matter and created the organic, repeating pattern to establish a mid ground transition between the two styles.Jeff was kept in the dark during this side of the process.
We both think the result is magic.
Jeffrey Lange
Jeffrey is a career artist, currently featured in galleries in Boston, Greenville, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Las Vegas. His artistic approach centers on the interplay of figures and his unique, evocative and chaotic build-up of paint layers.
O.M. Norling
OMN sets out to capture empathetic snap shots of the human experience. These eccentric still-lifes, using animal metaphors, represent the wonderful flaws, mishaps, modest triumphs and beauty of a life lived.
